Blake Johnson's campaign for the Indianapolis City-County Council announced this week that it raised close to $19,000 in the first reporting period of the cycle and will begin the primary election season with just over $16,000 in the bank.
The fundraising total represents the 3rd most of any 2015 candidate for the Indianapolis City-County Council, and the campaign has the 7th most cash on hand.
"There has been an extraordinary outpouring of support for this campaign, and I'm grateful for the close to 200 individuals and organizations who are standing with us," said Blake Johnson. "We have a lot of work to do in the coming months, and the investments made to date put us in a strong position as we look to May and November."
